Lake St.Clair has been recognized by American Angler magazine as one of the “Top 50 Fly Fishing Destinations in the U.S.” and may be the best smallmouth bass fishery anywhere. In addition, Lake St. Clair is rated as one of the top fisheries in the U.S. for muskellunge. Anglers are also likely to encounter largemouth bass, northern pike, white bass, yellow perch, carp, walleye, drum, and rock bass.

Steelhead Alley Outfitters

Almost two years ago now we sat down with Greg Senyo and Patrick Robinson of SAO and discussed how we could help each other out. A solid partnership was formed and the rest is history.





Mad River Outfitters is proud to offer the services of Steelhead Alley Outfitters. They serve as our "staff" of professional fly fishing guides in the Lake Erie/Great Lakes region. All services of Steelhead Alley Outfitters can be booked directly through Mad River Outfitters. Basically, they will be doing the guiding and we will be doing the outfitting. We also stock all of the gear, flies and accessories that are needed for a successful trip and recommended by them.
